Molly’s Wood

Community Nature Reserve

Molly’s Wood is a ten-acre nature reserve, rich in wildlife, on the fringe of Sible Hedingham in Essex. The wood was created for the community by the late Ronnie Green, who named it after his wife Molly. The first trees were planted about 2007, so the area is still young but bursting with life and full of its own magic.  It is crossed by winding paths that lead you to the woodlands, meadows, a wetland and an orchard of local fruit trees.

It is open to members at anytime to walk dogs, have a picnic or simply enjoy the tranquility. There is plenty of space for children to explore, make secret dens and play hide and seek.
